The Minnesota Armed Forces Hockey Tournament was established in 2014 as a way for Active, Prior Service, Retired and Veteran military service members to gather together in comradeship.   The tournament allows these players to celebrate their service and the game of hockey.  We welcome our brothers and sisters from the Police, Fire and EMS services into the fold as well. 

SKILL LEVELS:

B - Teams traditionally made up of former professional, collegiate and Junior hockey players.  This bracket offers a high level of skill, speed, and a fast paced game. 

B1 - Teams traditionally made up of former collegiate Division III or High School varsity players who have continued to play hockey over the years.  This bracket offers a good degree of speed and skill and a very good pace of play.

C -  Teams traditionally comprised of former High School or collegiate players who have continued to play hockey over the years but have lost a step.  This bracket offers good speed and skill and a good pace of play.

C1 - Teams traditionally comprised of former High School players who have continued to play hockey over the years but generally NOT on a consistent basis.

C2 -  Teams traditionally comprised of adults who took up playing organized hockey after high school or former Junior Varsity players who have continued to skate off and on through their life.  This bracket offers a more relaxed speed and various skills levels and a good pace of play. 

D - Novice players who are new to hockey as an adult, can skate and understand the game but whose skills have not fully developed yet to compete in a C Division game (C1,C2).  Pace of the game is slower than a C2 or C1 game.

$1100.00 per team

3 x games guaranteed (Pool Play) with re-seeding after the 1st games to lock the Divisions (if necessary).  Bracket play for those Divisions with ODD number of teams (with or without re-seeding).  Championship Sunday with 3rd Place and 1st Place games.
